Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer finance?
Unfortunately at the moment we do not offer finance.
How much will my kitchen cost?
As you can imagine this varies enormously depending on your requirements and the size of your kitchen. However, the typical cost for a kitchen (which includes furniture, appliances, worktops, installation, delivery and VAT) is between £15,000-£25,000.
What are your payment terms?
We require a 25% deposit to secure any discounts on offer and to arrange an installation slot. Then the outstanding balance is required 10-working days prior to delivery.
How quickly can I have my kitchen delivered?
We will always try to deliver your kitchen within the timescales you require. However, please bear in mind that each kitchen is made to order to meet your personal design specification and therefore there is normally a minimum of 6-8 weeks build time. We will discuss your delivery date with you during your design appointment and will try to accommodate your needs wherever possible.
How will my kitchen arrive?
Prior to delivery, you will be asked to confirm if there are any restrictions that might affect your delivery, such as the width of your road, or any parking restrictions. Our kitchens come fully assembled and are as such we need suitable access to help with delivery. We endeavour to deliver you kitchen on the day of installation but in some circumstances delivery may need to take place a few days before which will require sufficient space to store it.
We have building work taking place, how do you co-ordinate with my builder?
Our Installation Co-ordination team will work closely with your builders to ensure that the installation runs smoothly. We undertake a site survey prior to your kitchen going into production where we can discuss all aspects of the installation with your builder.
Do you use your own installers?
We work with a team of installers that have worked for us for many years, each with a wealth of experience installing kitchens. They work to exacting standards that reflect the ethos of The Kitchen Partners.
What is included in the cost of installation?
Our quotation includes fitting the kitchen on the basis that all the necessary services are in-situ. The quotation does not include any electrical work which will be subject to a separate quotation (the electrician needs to be responsible for connecting appliances), re-plastering, flooring, decorating or any other work not detailed by us. Removal of your old kitchen is not included unless specified.
How long will the installation process take?
We normally begin an installation on a Monday morning. We endeavour to be ready for worktop templating on Thursday (if you are having quartz, granite, Corian etc) with worktop installation a week later. In total 2 weeks is normally sufficient for the installation process.
What guarantees are included?
Our kitchens are designed to provide years of trouble-free service but, in the event of a problem occurring, you have the peace of mind of knowing that your kitchen is backed by a 5-Year guarantee, which becomes active once your kitchen has been completed. Appliance manufacturers offer separate guarantees, which can be extended to suit your needs.
Are you members of the KBSA?
